Brisbane's historic Wolston Park Hospital in 2000 was a large mental health facility with spacious grounds, multiple buildings and various wards. It has changed now from its form then, but at the time I was interested in two main questions: How does an environment created for the purpose of psychiatric treatment affect people within it? And conversely how do people also affect a place?
